Congratulations! Donald Brake’s artwork titled “Poptart Elementary” was selected as one of the top five finalists from the 3-5 grade group in ESS’ 2022 art competition!
All finalists are posted to ESS's Facebook and Instagram pages on Monday, April 4th. Each “like” received from Monday, April 4th through Sunday, April 10th (11:59 PM EST) will count as one point. The points awarded via social media will be added to the scores from our seven internal judges – and the winner from each group will be announced on Wednesday, April 13th! Each winner will receive a $500 gift card, plus a $500 gift card for their school!

It was SO great to have APA performers (and many former Hillcrest students) dance for us today! The students did great watching one of only a few assemblies we have been able to have in the past few years!!!

When you set a goal of 8,000 books for March is Reading Month, and the students pick a pizza party for their reward and blow past that goal, you call Little Ceasers to help you out! A HUGE thanks to Alma Little Ceasers for opening early to fill our LARGE order!!
Tomorrow is "Tacky Tourist/Beach Day!" Get ready for spring break by wearing your vacation gear.

It is OFFICIAL!!! The students have met their goal for March is Reading Month and read over 8,000 📚!!! I am safely back from the moon and have to pay up! 🍕party for the students tomorrow! (They can still bring a lunch or order a schools lunch like usual.)

On our last day of swim, we are discussing water safety, reviewing strokes, and having some free time! The students have improved so much in just 4 classes!!

Our 2nd grade students had the awesome opportunity of having FFA members come and read to them a book about Henry Ford and soybeans and get to plant different seeds! A huge thanks to Farm Bureau for helping to support this project!!!
