Attention Students: All absences must be excused by parents within 5 days after the absence or they will not be excused. If you leave the school for any reason you must check IN and OUT with Ms. Sweet in the attendance/SRC office or you will not be excused. Students: The ASVAB will be given on December 13 during 1st and 5th periods. The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test offers excellent career exploration information to each student. After completing the test, students will be able to identify careers that match their own interests and aptitudes. This test is free and open to all sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Interested students should sign up in the student services office.
Attention Seniors: Senior shirt order money is due by Friday, December 9. Please turn in your $15 to the office with your name attached or you can venmo @Senior2023ANP.
Students: Looking for something to do after school or want to learn a new skill? Come join Chess Club. You will be able to learn and practice your chess skills and hang out with your peers for challenging games of thought and patience. Chess Club will meet Monday and Tuesday each week in Mr. Holliday's class C306. Practice days may change but those are what we have planned until the New Year.
Attention 9th, 10th & 11th grade students: We will be updating your EDP’s next week! Freshmen on Monday & Tuesday; Sophomores on Wednesday & Thursday; and Juniors on Friday. Meetings will take place in the library. Group assignments are located on the windows outside the office & library. Please come down when your group is called!
Students: Boys Basketball and Student Council are once again partnering to run a food drive that will benefit the AHS Panther Den and put an orange-out student section t-shirt on your back. This year you can donate 3 or more non-perishable goods or hygiene products by dropping off items in Mr. Fornusek's room A-111 between December 12th and December 20th. After dropping off your items you will receive a ticket which will allow you to redeem a student section t-shirt prior to the December 20th Orange-Out boys basketball game versus Mt. Pleasant. There are only 52 shirts available with limited numbers in each size.
Students: The Model UN Team will meet at 3:15 on Monday, December 12th in A-119. Resolutions for our first competition will be available at the meeting.
