Scholars in Mr. Taylor's class participated in a mock congress where both House and Senate Representatives attempted to pass a bill to create a new class law. President Taylor had to veto much of what came across his desk.
Pine Avenue Parent Teacher Connection Night is Tuesday, January 23, 2024. We are looking forward to seeing all our students and parents.
APS start times for late start days are as follows: Luce Rd - 11:33 AM; Hillcrest - 11:38 AM; Pine Ave - 11:43 AM; Middle School and High School - 12 PM.
Due to back road conditions, Alma Public Schools will be operating on our delayed start schedule today, Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Luce Rd. Childcare will open at 7:00 for previously scheduled children.

Safety is a top priority. Alma Public Schools' staff is participating in school safety professional training today. With no students on site and in partnership with Alma Police Department and Secure Environment Consultants, our staff will participate in scenario training. We will use our internal alarms and PA. Please do not be alarmed if you see police presence at Alma High School.
Pine Avenue's Parent Teacher Connection Night has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2023. We look forward to seeing our Pine Panthers and their families.

Gratiot County is under a winter storm warning. Due to expected hazardous conditions, heavy snow, and high winds, Alma Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 12, 2024. Luce Rd. childcare will also be closed.
